Did you know that April 10th is National Hug Your Dog Day? I don’t know what could be more exciting than a special day dedicated to your pup. Now there’s the old saying that dogs are “Man’s Best Friend” and I have to tell you my dog Cookie keeps me on my toes. She’s the heart of the family. She always commands our attention and affection so this year we are planning some extra special things in her honor. Dogs are so loyal and they bring such joy and comfort on your best or worst days.
I came up with a plan which includes taking her on a walk in a new park. We will explore trails and enjoy the sights and fresh air. I also found a super simple recipe for dog treats that I’m so excited to try. It includes apples which she just loves and they are a great source of vitamin C and fiber.
